The new Lenovo V330 – specs, features, configurations and prices

Another day, another article about a laptop series. This time we will take a look at the new sleek and reliable Lenovo V330. As far as hardware options are concerned, you can choose up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U offering more than enough power for your needs. In addition, the graphics options include Intel UHD Graphics 620 and AMD Radeon 530 (4GB GDDR5). The maximum amount of memory you can go for is 20 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, while storage-wise – up to 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD providing you with ultra fast data transfer + up to 1000GB HDD to store all your important files.

In addition, the notebook sports a 15.6-inch TN display that comes with either Full HD (1920 x 1080) or HD (1366 x 768) resolution. What’s more, the anti-glare coating will ensure the colors remain bright and contrasty no matter the viewing angle. The 180-degree hinge further contributes to the great visual experience as you are able to adjust the laptop position according to your taste. Additionally, its weight of 2.05 kg and thickness of 22.3 mm make it the ideal portable companion wherever you go.

The new Lenovo V330 has undergone several extreme stress tests to make sure it will withstand even the roughest conditions. But not only is this bad boy super durable and reliable, it is also pretty secure. The notebook features the integrated firmware, Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which works side by side with Windows 10 Pro Bitlocker to encrypt all your data. What’s more, the Active Protection System (APS) further protects you from data loss as it automatically locks the hard drive, if a fall is detected. There is also no need to worry about passwords as the integrated Touch Type fingerprint reader takes care of this. And on top of everything, you are provided with a physical camera shutter – a simple slide and the camera lens is closed.

Furthermore, the 2-cell 39 Wh battery is supposed to last up to 16 hours which we should admit is pretty impressive. As for the operating system, the options consist of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. Whatever you go for, you get your personal digital assistant Cortana that recognizes your voice and does what you ask for. And finally – the connectivity options are decent enough. You get two USB 3.0 Type-A (one with optional Always On), one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1, one optional USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 (with the function of DisplayPort and PowerDelivery), VGA, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, as well as combo audio jack.
