Continuing on with our preliminary comparisons of the new Ryzen 9 5900H, whose Geekbench results got leaked, the next challenger is none other than the Core i9-10980HK, which is a monstrous performer in and of itself. Today we are here to find out if there is a stop to this new Ryzen’s reign as the new top-dog on the block.

CPU benchmark
Starting off with the Single-core scores, the Ryzen 9 5900H had a 17% higher score, and as far as Multi-core results are concerned, here the Ryzen 9 was once again better, this time by 12%. The performance gains of this new Zen 3 based CPU are great to see and we can’t wait to receive devices with it so that we can test it for ourselves.

Conclusion
To conclude, the Ryzen 9 5900H was 15% better on average across both Single-core and Multi-core performance.
