Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo’s remained cool, even after a couple of hours of 3D gaming

One of the devices currently undergoing our tests is Galaxy S5 Neo and you can expect its in-depth review in the near future. This model is based on last year’s Samsung flagship device with some slight differences. One of them is the SoC and in this case is Samsung’s Exynos 7 Octa 7580. We already shared how it affected battery life and now it’s time to see whether or not it causes the device to overheat.

As always, we simulated 3D gaming for a couple of hours with the Epic Citadel app and measured the phone’s outer temperatures. The results are more than optimistic. At the hottest part on the back of the device, we measured 37.5 degrees Celcius, which is a completely acceptable value and won’t cause any discomfort while touching it. The other two areas were even cooler with the difference in temperatures being only a couple of tenths of a degree. In short, the device passed our temperatures test with flying colors.

This phone might be a great choice in the medium-high phone range!
I would like see a complete review, especially comparing some features to S5:
– Camera (the new f/1.9 sensor produces better photos?)
– Battery (the lesser cpu frequency really improve battery life?)

Thank you so much for all articles about S5 Neo!
