Snapdragon 835 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium have won first place in our 3D performance chart

This year’s Sony flagship Xperia XZ Premium comes with some significant improvements compared to its predecessor XZ. It hides Snapdragon 835 mobile processor under its hood which takes the first place in our 3D performance chart.

Xperia XZ Premium works with the best by Qualcomm. Snapdragon 835 is their first 10nm mobile processor offering a 25% improvement in graphics performance compared to the Snapdragon 820. The chip features eight Qualcomm Kryo cores the first four running at up to 2.45 GHz and other four – at up to 1.9 GHz. Moreover, it boasts support of 4K screens, up to 32MP camera or 16MP dual camera, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE Cat 16 technology with a download speed of up to 1Gbps and upload speed up to 150 Mbps, as well as the new Quick Charge 4.0 technology providing 20% faster charging compared to Quick Charge 3. The available GPU here is Adreno 540.
