The notebook can be powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor or even the high-performance Intel Xeon E-2186M chip backed up with up to 32 GB of RAM. Furthermore, you get up to 4 TB local PCIe NVMe storage that is 21 times faster compared to a standard HDD and six times faster than SATA SSD. Also, the graphics options include Intel UHD Graphics 630 and NVIDIA Quadro P1000 GPUs that allow you to edit or render multi-layered files effortlessly.

Another impressive merit of the device is its 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen display which comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080) or 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution. HP claims that the 4K option is 20% and 50% brighter compared to Apple MacBook Pro and Dell XPS respectively. What’s more, a maximum brightness of 600 nits enables you to discern different vibrant colors, while the anti-glare coating allows you to do your work even outdoors under direct sunlight.

It is only natural, given the nature of the laptop, that it boasts a 360-degree hinge. You can seamlessly switch between four modes – laptop, tablet, tent and stand according to your needs. Furthermore, the convertible comes with a Wacom AES pen that boasts 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity creating the illusion of using a pencil on paper. All of this is packed in a 2.22 kg (4.9 lbs) chassis measuring at 20.4 mm in height so the convertible can be easily taken wherever your work takes you.

HP also promises up to 16 hours of battery life which should be sufficient to get you through the entire day and even more without worrying about power outlets. On top of that, the notebook has your back in terms of connectivity – you get 2x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, HDMI, SD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.

The starting price of HP ZBook Studio x360 is expected to be around $1,499.
