日本[FPS Benchmarks] Red Dead Redemption 2 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) – the bigger GPU is a lot faster
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Rockstar Games title. We saw the PC release in 2019 and just like GTA V, this game is super successful. The gameplay formula isn’t that different if you compare it directly to GTA V – a big open world full of NPCs and missions, side quest, etc. The difference is that the game is set in 1889 which means that you can ride horses instead of cars.
The RAGE engine is definitely updated and the game looks very good but this title is more demanding than GTA V when it comes to system requirements.
So, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3060 (75W) are in front of us – let’s see how fast are these two Ampere video cards.

Verdict
The GeForce RTX 3060 [130W] won by a hefty margin – 29% on average. This is a really big performance difference so we can call that a flawless victory for the bigger GPU. Nevertheless, the MAX preset is a big challenge for both video cards and it seems that High quality is the way to go no matter the graphics card (in this comparison).
This leads us to the fact that the smaller GPU can show 43 FPS on High which is okay if you aren’t too pretentious.
