ADATA announced new RAM sticks for both laptops and desktops – XPG Flame DDR4

unnamedADATA announced a new RAM stick member of the XPG lineup – Flame. XPG is an abbreviation of Xtreme Performance Gear, which means that the new modules target those of you who desire maximum performance and even overclocking capabilities. XPG Flame RAM is of the DDR4 type and it can be used only on devices compatible with this memory type. The RAM stick is characterized by a thin profile and stylish design, which is reinforced by 2oz of layered copper.

The most fascinating fact about the XPG Flame memory is that it’s available for both mobile devices and desktop configurations. Considering the expected laptops with GTX 1070/1080, we are not surprised that a company such as ADATA releases RAM sticks for gamers that can operate at up to 2800 MHz. XPG Flame supports Intel XMP 2.0, which means that you can overclock your memory by a single click in your BIOS settings. The base frequency of these sticks is 2400 MHz and their voltage is 1.2 Volts. In the desktop models the frequency can go up to 3000 MHz, and the voltage varies between 1.2 and 1.35 Volts.
