Samsung Galaxy A7 surfaces in a few retail websites – the price seems to be a bit high?

samsunggalaxya7blueSamsung is said to make some big changes in its strategy in the mobile industry in 2015, which includes 20-30% cuts in smartphone models and improving their old design signature. Still, we will see a lot of devices throughout the whole year starting with the new Galaxy A7, А5 and A3 mid-range smartphones.

We are waiting for both devices to be released any time now, but it seems that a few retail websites have spoiled the surprise and even put a price tag on the Galaxy A7 (SM-A700F). Eurotronics is offering the handset for €499, while some Russian online stores like Euroset, MTS and TechnoSila are selling it for roughly €420. Well, judging by the price, this smartphone easily enters the higher-end segment, but some of the tech specs are not on the same page.

The Galaxy A7 has an octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU with four 1.7GHz Cortex A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with expandable with microSD up to 64GB. As for the screen, it offers Super AMOLED panel measuring at 5.5″ and Full HD (1080×1920) resolution. However, the camera department seems to be pretty decent with 13MP main shooter with LED flash and 5MP front-facing wide angle camera, which will be ideal for selfies.

The Galaxy A7 comes with pre-installed Android 4.4.4 KitKat and 2600 mAh battery running the show. Also, the device features pleasing to the eye aluminium chamfered edges. So, what do you think? Will Samsung make some good selling points of this device or it will fail before it begins?
