The new ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX370UA convertible series – prices, specs, features and configurations

Another day, another gorgeous convertible series to be discussed in a short article. What we have in mind is the new ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX370UA ultrabook series. This laptop can be extremely useful to those of you who are looking for a very versatile and yet compact and lightweight machine. It is only 10.9 mm thick and weighs just a hair over 1 kg. What’s more, this ultrabook makes use of solid aluminum for its chassis which is not only strong albeit lightweight, but also incredibly stylish.

Another quite fascinating design aspect is the chamfered edges which further contribute to the appealing looks. However, there is one other even more intriguing moment – the unique 360° ErgoLift hinge. It offers pretty smooth travel and holds the screen firmly at any position. Additionally, the hinge has a mechanism that lifts the base when the display is opened beyond 135 degrees. This allows for more comfortable typing.

Moving on to the performance side of things. You can purchase this ZenBook device with either an Intel Core i7-8550U or Intel Core i5-8250U processor (if curious, you could read a comparative article on the two processors here). Either way, the performance is more than enough for the purposes of this elegant mobile assistant. As for the graphics part, we are looking at the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU – enough for everyday tasks but not suitable for heavy gaming (not that anyone would play such games on convertible).

Memory-wise, you can get up to 16 GB of RAM – more than enough for a convertible. When it comes to the storage devices, we are talking about up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 3 SSD (3 times faster than SATA SSDs). This means that multitasking and application loading will be smooth and fast.

Another quite notable merit of this bad boy is its 13.3-inch IPS multitouch display with Full HD resolution and 331ppi pixel density. Additionally, you might wish to know that the screen to body ratio is 80%. All this means that you get a very detailed image with contrasty colors and wide viewing angles.
