Design and construction

Acer Spin 7 is a ultra thin and light notebook with a weight of only 1.2 kg and profile thickness of the impressive 10.9 mm. The interior is complemented by a 13-inch aluminum unibody design with a 360 degree hinge and diamond-cut edges making the notebook appear even thinner. In addition, the display is 14-inch multitouch Full HD (1920 x 1080) with an IPS matrix using thin bezels that further increase the working space. Moreover, the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the screen from scratches while at the same time reducing the reflections for better viewing when used outdoors.

As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the device offers dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports, which provide faster data transfer, connection to an external display, and can also charge Spin 7, smartphones and other digital devices. To make it possible to connect a keyboard, mouse and other peripherals, a USB Type-C to a standard USB (Type A) adapter is available. The specs list is complemented by 2×2 802.11ac with MU-MIMO wireless technology providing smooth streaming, fast downloading and up to three times faster connections compared to older wireless standards. What’s more, here you will also find the Dolby Audio Premium technology thanks to which you can take delight in rich sound via two integrated speakers.
