[Specs and Info] MSI CreatorPro M15 (A11Ux) – A GF63 Thin with a twist

After the fiasco of the MSI Titan GT77 and the MSI CreatorPro 17X, here we have another gaming notebook that has been transformed, in order to fit the job of a content machine.

The CreatorPro M15 comes with some pretty good hardware, that’s solely focused on productivity, with gaming taking a back seat. Weirdly enough, you don’t get the latest CPUs, with the M15 relying on the Tiger Lake H-series, instead of Alder Lake, which is everywhere at this point.

Today we’re giving you a quick overview of the MSI CreatorPro M15 (A11Ux).

MSI CreatorPro M15 (A11Ux): Full Specs

Design

Sharing the same platform as the GF63 offers some positives, mainly the slim and light chassis. The lid is made from aluminum, while the rest of the laptop is plastic. Still, with a weight of only 1.86 kg and a 21.7 mm profile, you’d be pleased with the ergonomics that it provides. The laptop has a deep black color, with a red MSI logo and some heat vents on the sides and the back.

Display

There are two display options, with an FHD resolution and either 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. Weirdly enough, MSI gives no details about the color coverage or accuracy, which is very, very weird, as the display is a vital component of a Creator laptop.

Specifications and features

MSI gives you only one hardware configuration, with the Core i7-11800H and the RTX A1000. Tiger Lake might seem like old news, but the H-series can still kick some butt when decent cooling is present. The RTX A1000 uses the same GA107 die as the RTX 3050, with 2048 CUDA cores, 16 Ray Tracing cores, and 64 Tensor cores, which are the backbone of NVIDIA’s DLSS technology.

In terms of I/O, we have three USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, one Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 1) port, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
