Samsung Galaxy Book3 (15.6″): Full Specs

Design

Compared to other Samsung laptops, the Galaxy Book3 shares a similar look, with a Graphite color and a minimalist design. We have a flat-shaped lid with sharp edges and rounded corners. The Samsung logo on the back of the lid is the only branding that you’ll find. In terms of dimensions and portability, the Galaxy Book3 should do pretty well, considering it weighs only 1.57 kg and has a profile of 15.49 mm.

The port selection of the laptop comes with two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) ports, two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI port, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Display

The display selection offers only one panel, a Full HD IPS one. We don’t expect professional-level color reproduction from it, and if you want that you’d be better served going over to the convertible model or even the Pro or Ultra models.

Specifications and features

The laptop comes with the Core i5-1335U, a 10-core CPU with 12 threads. It should offer enough performance to power you through plenty of both light and heavy work. With just 15W of TDP, we expect it to be pretty efficient as well, sparing the 54Wh battery pack as much as possible. For graphics, you can stick with the Iris Xe Graphics G7, which will be the preferred choice, or pay a bit extra and go for the Intel Arc A350M, a discrete GPU with 4GB of VRAM. With it, you’ll also be able to play some games, provided Intel continues to provide fixes and improvements for both new DirectX 12 and old DirectX 9 games, which has been their main issue.
