[Exclusive] Intel Core i3-8130U is coming to hit the new ULV AMD Ryzens, here’s what we know

After the release of great CPUs on the desktop market, AMD has started to quickly grow in the mobile segment as well. The new AMD Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 7 2700U turned out to be great performers and as you guess, Intel must either respond fast or face a hard time. Of course, the blue team prefers the former option and it looks like after the release of Core i5-8250U and i7-8550U (which are up to 100% faster than their predecessors) Intel has something more up its sleeve.

We’re pretty happy that LaptopMedia is the first to announce the new Intel Core i3-8130U which will be Intel’s next budget hit on the market.

Core i3-8130U will be released soon and will fill the gap below i5-8250U giving manufacturers the opportunity to release laptops with more than enough CPU power for everyday tasks and light gaming while keeping the price below $450 or even $400.

Unlike i5-8250U and i7-8550U, the new Core i3-8130U will have just 2 cores (4 threads) but we don’t have information about its clock speeds yet.

Stay tuned for some more info in the coming days, here at LaptopMedia.com.
