HP ProBook 440 G3’s display isn’t what we’ve expected

hp_probook_440_g3_K9J48EAIf you read our first impressions of HP’s famous ProBook 440 G3 you’ve noticed that we are quite keen on this 14-inch business companion. However, the pricing in some regions is a bit off, but if you are able to find it for the right price, the laptop offers great value – impeccable build quality and exceptionally long battery runtimes.

You can find the laptop at a decent price at the following link: http://amzn.to/242dtbG

The display, on the other hand, isn’t one of its strongest suits, unfortunately. The laptop offers 14-inch TN panel with pretty low maximum brightness (226 cd/m2) and around 60% sRGB color gamut coverage. This was somehow expected from a budget business class laptop, but the results are mediocre even for this. Also, the poor image quality is pretty negligible if the price is around €500, but again, the device’s asking price is pretty high in some areas – around 1 000 GBP in the UK, for example.

Stay tuned for our full review of the model as the laptop has a lot to offer besides the sturdy construction and good battery life.

Please confirm for which models of hp talking about, cause there are many models with 1366×768 and 1920×1080 displays. Models like P5S69EA ,P4P49EA, P4P34EA with different gamut displays…

Oh I see, you’re talking only for 14-inch displays but there are also defence models with 1366×768 and 1920×1080 displays.
