NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M with GDDR5 VRAM makes it to top 20 in our GPU rankings

gpu rankingEven though the GTX 950M GPU has been announced long ago and has been released on the market in two different variations – with DDR3 and GDDR5 VRAM – but only now we had the chance to test out the GDDR5 version. Anyway, as expected, the GPU performs ever so slightly better than the standard DDR3 model according to synthetic benchmarking but the difference is more noticeable in real-life usage or in other words – gaming.

Taking 19th place in our GPU ranking table, the GTX 950M with 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM drags behind the previous GTX 860M GPU which is quite normal considering the clock speeds and other features. We will get back to you in the following days with a more extensive comparison between the GTX 950M with DDR3 and GDDR5 memory including not only benchmarks but gaming tests as well.

For now, go check out our GPU ranking table and GTX 950M’s dedicated page.
