The new Acer Spin 3 (SP314-51) 2-in-1 series – prices, specs, features and configurations

Today we want to present you with a new budget-friendly convertible laptop for those who need a computer wherever they go.

Say hello to the new Acer Spin 3 (SP314-51) – the compact assistant that has all the desired features for day-to-day use. You can check its in-depth specs and more information here:

This handy notebook comes in a light 1.7kg (4.7lbs) chassis with a profile of just 20.8mm (0.82″). Combined with the fact that the Spin 3 has an overall small footprint thanks to the nature of the 14-inch display means that it won’t serve a problem to carry it in a backpack or handbag.

Speaking of the display, you get a 14-inch IPS panel with great viewing angles and Full HD (1920x1080p) resolution. The hinge rotates at 360 degrees and the display supports multitouch so you can use your device in any of the four usual modes.

The Spin 3 is not particularly powerful but it wasn’t designed to be so. However, you can opt for the 8th generation Intel Core i5-8250U which backed by 8GB of DDR4 RAM and an SSD will work like a charm when it comes to everyday tasks like office work, Internet browsing, and media consumption.

The Spin 3 features all the usual connectivity ports including two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI, card reader, 3.5mm combo audio jack and even a Kensington security lock. Unfortunately, the device lacks a USB Type-C port which is very common today and enables much faster data transfer compared to traditional USBs.

To add even more value to the package, Acer includes a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal with the Spin 3.
