5.5-inch Full HD screen and Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS

Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display providing you with large enough working space. Its resolution is Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) offering image detail of around 401ppi. In addition, Gorilla Glass 3 will protect the screen from scratches.

The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh, which should provide you with a relatively long battery life between charges. Additionally, the operating system is Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) but an upgrade to Android 8.0 (Oreo) is planned. As far as connectivity options are concerned, you get Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS.

4 GB RAM and 12 MP main camera

The mobile chip is developed by Qualcomm and it is Snapdragon 626 MSM8953-Pro. It features eight Cortex-A53 cores running at clock speeds of up to 2.20 GHz. The Adreno 506 GPU takes care of graphics performance. You also get 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage but if needed you can use the present microSD slot with support of up to 256 GB.

Let’s move on to the camera specs. The main sensor is 12 MP and features an autofocus, f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. Moreover, you can record up to 4K (2160 pixels) video. Anyway, the front camera is 5 MP with 1.4 µm pixels, dual LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for amazing selfies.
