[Specs, Info, and Prices] Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H) – еntertainment notebooks don’t get better than this

Large screen, low price, and an Operating system that can function well on low-powered chips, while allowing you to not miss out on the fun of having a laptop. Chrome OS is as simple as it gets, offering an easy-to-lear interface, that even elderly citizens will get comfortable with quickly. There is also the Play Store which offers a variety of apps that you can get lost in.

Today we are giving you a quick look at the Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H).

The Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H) is available now with a starting price of $399.

Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H): Full Specs

Design

The laptop really doesn’t match its price tag. It looks really good, coming with a dark silver exterior, which is on the edge of becoming space grey, which would have been phenomenal. Still, the lid comes with diamond-cut edges, along with Chromebook and Acer branding, which we can’t forget about. The lid hinges also work as a lever, lifting up the rear end of the base, opening up the bottom, so that more air can enter the system. The base features a keyboard, touchpad, and stereo speaker cutouts, which should be the case for all 17-inch notebooks and above. In terms of weight and height, the laptop stops the scales at 2.20 kg and 22.5 mm.

Display

The laptop comes with a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS panel that should be everything when you need when it comes to either, work or entertainment, with the large size and the IPS technology, which has great viewing angles and decent color reproduction. The screen has an anti-glare coating, which should stop reflections, while the optional touchscreen is an added benefit.

Specifications and features

The Celeron N4500 and Pentium N6000 have just enough power to be quick and snappy in daily tasks. They come with two or four cores, respectively, and offer decent boost clock speeds. For graphics, you have the Jasper Lake-based UHD Graphics, with 16 Execution Units (EU) for the Celeron, and 32EU for the Pentium.

The laptop gets a backlit keyboard, while the Webcam on the top bezel has a wide viewing angle of 82°, which will look quite cinematic in web calls. The I/O on the sides is also quite packed with stuff, offering two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, two USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 1), a MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
