[FPS Benchmarks] Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) – the bigger sibling is definitely faster

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a new beginning for the series. The single-player is spot-on as always (Captain Price is here again), the multiplayer is just fine with its numerous game modes, and of course – we cannot miss the battle royal mode. Probably this game is so popular because of the latter.

Technically-wise, we have a brand new game engine which was a long-awaited change for all Call Of Duty fans around the world. The engine is called IW 8.0, it looks good and it’s more optimized compared to the old one.

In addition to that, let’s check what the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W) can offer when it comes to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Verdict

Both GPUs perform fine but the 130W video card is 25% faster on average which is a significant difference. In this particular game, the bigger TGP and higher frequencies do matter. Still, the smaller sibling shows some decent results for an 85W TGP. On top of that, you can find this GPU in much smaller devices compared to the bigger graphics card that requires significant cooling.
