[FPS Benchmarks] Overwatch on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) – the 130W GPU is 13% faster on Epic Quality

Overwatch is a well-known Blizzard online shooter. The title is very popular because of its fun gameplay and variety of different characters, weapons, and maps. The visual representation of the game is still good and Overwatch isn’t the heaviest game when it comes to system requirements.

For today’s article, we’re going to examine the performance of two fast NVIDIA Ampere video cards – the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W).

Verdict

On Low and High details there is no actual difference between the two GPUs. On Epic Quality the 130W chip is 13% faster which is okay but the 85W rival can show 230 FPS and that is more than enough for most gamers unless if you own a device with a 240 Hz or even faster display. Even so, the 85W GPU is still fast enough if you aren’t too pretentious.
