Intel Core i7-12700H climbs to the top step of our Laptop CPU Ranking
What a way to make a statement. Alder Lake arrived and the first thing it sought to do is to climb the charts in terms of CPU performance leaving a wasteland behind it.
Right now, the CPU looks unstoppable with its large core and thread count. From our little experience with Alder Lake, we can see that there have also been decent improvements in the battery life, with the new E-cores preserving power in low-resource tasks.
On the other hand, when performance is needed, all cores link up to deliver enough juice to take the top spot in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking. It outclassed even the Ryzen 9 5900HX, the most powerful weapon in AMD’s arsenal.
