Lenovo Legion Y730 (17″) – the return of the 17-inch Y7xx laptops

It seems that in the last couple of days we have focused mainly on Lenovo laptops. Today we will turn our attention to a 17-inch Y7xx version which we haven’t seen in quite a while. We are talking about the Lenovo Legion Y730 (17″).

You can check its in-depth specs and more information here: https://laptopmedia.com/series/lenovo-legion-y730-17/

This bad boy comes with either an Intel Core i7-8750H or Intel Core i5-8300H. Either way, you will be more than happy as the two chips take the 4th and 85th positions in our Top Laptop CPU ranking. When it comes to the GPU, we are looking at an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB GDDR5) – a good chip for graphics demanding tasks as it sits on the 25th position in our top Laptop GPU chart. What’s more, you can currently purchase the machine with up to a 1000GB SSD storage device for speedy data transfer and app loading.

RAM-wise, we find up to 32GB of memory which is great for multitasking and gaming. As it was mentioned above, this is a 17-incher and you have two display panel options – a 17.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), 144 Hz, IPS one (better for gamers because of the high refresh rate) and a 17.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS panel. You are also presented with a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support and keyboard backlight.

If you are not sure that this is the right choice for you, here are several alternatives of the same size – Dell G3 17 3779, ASUS ROG SCAR Edition GL703VD, HP OMEN 17, and MSI GP73 Leopard.
