The HP Probook 430 G5 display doesn’t use PWM only at maximum brightness

The HP Probook 430 G5 has undergone several tests showing that its panel uses PWM for all brightness levels except for the maximum one.

However, there is some good news – the display flickers at high frequencies making it comfortable for continuous work as it wouldn’t have such a negative impact on most users. Although the HP Probook 430 G5 panel uses pulse-width modulation for regulating the brightness of the screen resulting in the so-called screen flickering effect for all brightness levels except for the maximum one, this will affect only users with very sensitive eyes.

However, if this is an issue for you, we have a solution to the problem and it is our Health-Guard profile, which eliminates PWM and also reduces the negative blue light emissions.
