The new ASUS VivoBook E502NA – specs and features

Hey there! In the focus of today’s article we have the new ASUS VivoBook E502NA which is a value notebook with premium feel. Its design is quite simplistic and yet elegant. This 15.6-inch notebook has many neat features that we would like to touch upon in this short publication.

And so, we begin with the hardware side of things. Your machine can be configured with an Intel Celeron N3350/N3450 or Intel Pentium N4200 processors. Additionally, you are presented with an Integrated Intel HD Graphics 505 (Apollo Lake) GPU. Memory-wise, we are talking about up to 8 GB SDRAM. As for the storage devices, you can choose up to a SATA3 256GB SSD and up to a 500GB HDD.

Additionally, ASUS have incorporated a 15.6-inch display with HD resolution (1366 x 768) and a TN panel, however there is also a configuration with a Full HD display. Moving on, the interior offers a convenient chiclet keyboard and touchpad. The latter uses a special technology employed in the production of smartphone touchscreens so as to provide a more intuitive experience.

Of course, this device boasts other merits such as a special Ice Cool cooling technology and SonicMaster speakers for enhanced audio experience.

I like it. Bought a white one for my wife. The Celeron +4Gigs of ram and a 128GB SSD is nothing special, but works like it should. It also looks good.
Surprised to see a dedicated hatch at the bottom for swaping out the main 2,5″ drive. It should come in handy in a few years time.
