The result of the cooperation between HP and NVIDIA is a 48GB vRAM Workstation

m6000Two of USA’s top IT companies, HP and NVIDIA, have decided to cooperate with each other in the making of an extremely powerful machines, which will be able to effortlessly break the bound between real life and virtual reality.

The configurations of HP’s new model, HP Z240, Z640, and Z840, will sport NVIDIA Quadro GPUs which are famous for the incredibly high performance – the graphics card is powerful enough to handle the heaviest tasks you can throw at it. All of this was confirmed today by NVIDIA at the GTC 2016 conference, which started yesterday and will continue until the 7th of April in the San Jose Convention Center.

So if you want to dive into the virtual reality world, HP makes it easier with the Quadro M6000. Since NVIDIA released an updated version of the GPU, it is now the graphics card with the most dedicated memory – 24GB vRAM. However, if you feel that it isn’t enough, HP’s got you covered. The manufacturer has added a secondary GPU in the machine making a total of two GPUs in SLI configuration.

Aside from the support for SLI, this configuration of HP’s model also supports the VR Synchronization technology for better high-quality images.

HP-Z840-Workstation

Currently, Hp has revealed only 3 configurations from their Z series – HP Z240 Workstation equipped with NVIDIA’s Quadro M5000 8GB GDDR5 GPU, HPZ640 Workstation, and its single NVIDIA Quadro M6000, and the dual Quadro M6000 model – HP Z840 Workstation, if you want to go the extra mile.
