Official: HTC announced three new smartphones from their Desire lineup – Desire 825, Desire 630 and Desire 530

HTC revealed three new smartphones here at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona – Desire 825, Desire 630 and Desire 530. All three models are audio oriented and offer pleasant designs.

The leader of the trio is the Desire 825 that comes with Hi-Res earphones and Dolby Audio’s BoomSound technology promise outstanding audio quality. The specs of the phone include a 5.5-inch Super LCD display with HD resolution, Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, which could be expanded with a microSD memory card and a 2700 mAh battery. The phone supports LTE connectivity and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The phone has a 13MP on its back capable of recording videos in Full HD resolution and a 5MP front-facing shooter, which packs a lot of interesting selfie features. The phone is available with one or two SIM card slots, depending on your region.

Desire 630 is almost identical in terms of design, but with slightly smaller dimensions. The phone features a 5-inch screen with HD resolution. The same stereo speakers, cameras (13MP and 5MP), Snapdragon 400 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage are present, but the battery has slightly lower capacity – 2200 mAh. The device also supports LTE Cat.4 and has two SIM cards.

Desire 530 belongs to the lower class despite having a 5-inch HD display. The phone runs with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 SoC and 1.5GB of RAM. The available storage, however, is 16GB and there’s a microSD memory card slot available as well. Furthermore, the device, just like the others, features stereo loudspeakers but the camera sensors are only 8MP and 5MP.

All three models will hit the market in March, but there isn’t any information about their prices yet.
