A couple of sample shots of night time Plovdiv taken with the new Samsung Galaxy S7

phone-module4One of the overhauled components on Samsung’s new flagship, Galaxy S7, is its camera. The phone sports a 12MP rear shooter, which may not seem as an upgrade to some, considering that last year’s model had a 16MP camera. This time around, however, we’ve got f/1.7 aperture and 1.4 µm pixel size, compared to the 1.12 µm on the S6. Both of these changes should help you capture better photos in low light conditions, so we decided to test it out. We were very pleased with the results. Check out the test shots below.

Since we’re headquartered in Plovdiv, which is one of the oldest cities in the world, we figured it’d offer sufficiently interesting photo ops. We took a casual evening stroll and took a couple of sample shots, which turned out very impressive. We’re yet to perform our in-depth tests on the camera. You can expect that our full review of the model.
