Samsung reveals Gear Fit 2 Pro fitness bracelet with focus on personal healthcare

South Korea’s tech giant Samsung has focused more on improving its available wearable health devices than on creating new ones. This is also the case with the Gear Fit 2 Pro fitness bracelet – the same device, but updated technology.

Things are different for wearables in 2017. Samsung introduced their Gear Fit 2 last year in New York in front of a large audience. But companies realize that interest has already been lost, so this year, a much smaller number of devices will be announced.

Samsung has decided to unveil its latest wearable device – Gear Fit 2 Pro at the IFA 2017 convention in Berlin. The two main new features of the fitness bracelet are the upgraded built-in GPS and improved swimming and heart rate monitoring. And now the bracelet is also with a new ergonomic design, available in black and red. Almost everything, like the 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display, is borrowed from Gear Fit 2 released in 2016.

Samsung will release Gear Fit 2 Pro on 15 September. Until then you could browse through all currently available Samsung products here: http://amzn.to/2iKxSDR
