Design, Display, Cameras
A device’s design language is the first thing that grabs one’s attention. As a premium smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 6 certainly boasts a really stylish construction. The latter uses four-sided curved glass and a stainless steel frame. Additionally, the body is splash resistant, although this must not be mistaken for IP67 certification (occasional drops of water may be okay but do not soak the device). The front boasts a 5.15-inch FHD display with 428 ppi and wide color gamut coverage. Below it, under the glass, there is a fingerprint scanner to keep your phone safe. Above the display, we can notice the usual suspects – an earpiece, front camera, and sensors.
Going around the frame, we notice that the bottom holds the loudspeaker grills as well as a USB-C port. The left side, as yo might expect, carries the SIM card tray, while the right one – the volume controls and Power button. As for the top, it integrates a secondary mic for background noise cancellation.
The back holds something which is quite intriguing – a dual 12MP camera with flashlight. It seems that we this is the future – dual cameras for much-improved image quality.
