This laptop is rich in ports. On the left side – an RJ-45 connector, an HDMI connector, two USB Type-C ports (one 3.1 (Gen. 1) and one 3.1 (Gen. 2), a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port, and a headphone jack. On the right – a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port, an SD card reader, and a hidden USB Type-A 2.0 slot.

The machine is cool and quiet during load. We measured just 44.4°C as a hotspot between keycaps “7” and “8”.

4. Some extras

The notebook has an M.2 slot that supports NVMe x2/x4 drives. There is a standard 2.5″ SATA drive slot for HDDs. Some other things – optional fingerprint reader and Wi-Fi 6.

1 reason not to BUY the Lenovo ThinkBook 15

1. The build

The only part that is made of aluminum is the lid. The rest is plastic – not very pleasant. Speaking of the lid, you can’t open it with a single hand.
