A new leak of Motorola Moto G5 Plus – shows design

Motorola G5 and G5 Plus should get announced at the MWC convention at the end of February but there are always some leaks before the actual release of a new device and the Moto series isn’t left behind. Today the Japanese tech news website Weibo shares a leaked image of the rear panel of the Moto G5 Plus. Judging by the image it’s a slightly curved at the edges plastic panel with what appears to be a metal or metallic binding.

The image also comes with a small description which claims that Moto G5 Plus will be equipped with a Sony IMX362 sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens and it will support phase focusing.

The design that we see in this image looks quite similar to older leaks, which leads to the conclusion that it might be real and this is how the device will actually look once it gets released.

Other known specs for the time of speaking include a Full HD (1920 x 1080p) 5.2-inch screen, 12MP camera, mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 3000mAh battery, and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
