Razer refreshes the Blade Stealth with a larger 13.3-inch screen and Kaby Lake processor

The smallest of the Blade trio – the Blade Stealth was a tiny premium 12.5-inch notebook from Razer. But that is no more. The 2017 version of the notebook will feature a larger 13.3-inch screen and upgraded hardware.

The CNC-milled aluminum chassis is now even thinner measuring in at less than 13mm (0.52 inches) and it weighs just 2.93 pounds. The 13.3-inch IGZO display has a resolution of 3200 × 1800 and covers 100% of the sRGB color space.

The updated hardware consists of a processor from the latest 7th generation Kaby Lake. The Blade Stealth is equipped with a ULV chip – Intel Core i7-7500U (2.7 GHz / 3.5 GHz). The company claims up to nine hours of battery life. The CPU is paired with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and storage options include a 256, 512 GB or 1TB PCIe SSD. No NVMe unfortunately.

The Blade Stealth does not offer an external GPU. It relies on the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 which makes it more of an ultrabook rather than a gaming device that we would expect from a company like Razer. However, the notebook is Razer Core compatible so you can attach an external GPU if needed.

The new Razer Blade Stealth should be available in July with a starting price of $1399. Meanwhile, you can check all currently available Razer products over here: http://amzn.to/2s4FzqU
