The new BenQ PD2700Q and PD3200Q are 32-inch monitors designed for heavy work

benqOne of the leaders in the external monitors market, BenQ, announced two new 32-inch models – BenQ PD2700Q and PD3200Q. Both models use the BenQ VA panel technology which ensures higher contrast levels and deeper blacks. Additionally, the monitors support 10-bit color gamut or, to be more precise, 8 bits plus 2-bit FRC.

The monitors boast an anti-reflective coating and their backlight is of the WLED type, ensuring 100% sRGB coverage but there is no information as to the Adobe RGB color space. Also, the two devices are 60 Hz but PD3200Q is different from PD2700Q in terms of its contrast ratio of 1000:1 (typical of IPS panels). The brightness of the IPS monitor is 350 cd/m2, and the one of the VA display – 300 cd/m2. Both models’ response time is 4ms.

Here is a short preview of the specifications:

– the Q modification of the 32-inch monitor has a VA panel with a resolution of 2560 х 1440 p (WQHD) pixels and contrast ratio of 3000:1
– the U version of PD3200Q is equipped with an AHVA IPS panel with a resolution of  3840 х 2160 p (UHD)
– DualView feature
– CAD/CAM, Animation Display Mode and Darkroom
– KVM (Keyboard Video Moise) Switch
– Eye-Care technology

PD2700Q offers the following ports: Dual-Link DVI, HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2 и MiniDP 1.2; and PD3200Q these: HDMI 2.0 (4k ready), DP 1.2 and MiniDP 1.2, while both models feature four USB 3.0 ports and 3.5mm audio jack each.
