Toshiba Portege Z20t PWM tests are a bit of a letdown

Z20t_DETACH1-900x506As you’ve already picked up from our articles and reviews, we emphasize a lot on the PWM screen tests, so here’s another portion of the daily screen flickering results. This time we’ve got the handy Portege Z20t convertible that has a 12.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) screen that looks good, but, unfortunately, uses PWM across all brightness levels.

You can see on the graph below that the frequency of the emitted light is around 210 Hz falling into the aggressive pulsation category. Having this in mind, the display might put a lot of strain on some users after prolonged usage, especially those with sensitive eyes.
