The new Dell Inspiron 7570 (15 7000) – specs, features, configurations and prices

The new series of notebooks equipped with an 8th gen Intel Core processor by Dell include a few 2-in-1 and some regular laptops. One of these regular laptops is the Dell Inspiron 7570 or 15 7000. We have already shown you the 2-in-1 version of the 15 7000 but now it’s time for the more versatile in terms of specifications one.

The 15.6-inch display of the Inspiron 7570 comes in three panel options with up to 4K resolution. One non-touchscreen and one touchscreen panel with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution and another touchscreen panel with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160p) resolution. However, the panels don’t have their technology noted so it might be TN. And as for the graphics card, you can opt for the dedicated NVIDIA 940MX 4GB GDDR5 version. Unfortunatelly, there is no option for the newer MX150.

Both the touchscreen and non-touchscreen models are powered by up to an Intel ULV Core i7 CPU from the latest 8th generation backed up by up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Storage options are interesting on the Inspiron 7570. It offers one 2.5-inch slot for HDD (up to 2TB) or SSD (up to 512GB) and one M.2 slot that supports PCIe NVMe SSDs and even Intel Optane drives with 16 or 32GB capacity.

Additional features include a backlit keyboard and 180-degrees hinge. There are some differences between the touchscreen and non-touchscreen models. For instance, only the touchscreen models include the infrared VGA camera for Windows Hello and the touchscreen models have a bigger 4-cell 56Wh battery instead of the 3-cell 42Wh unit of the base model. However, the touchscreen models are a bit heavier than the non-touchscreen one – 2.15 kg (4.74 lb) vs 1.995 kg (4.40 lb). The model with the 4K panel is also a tiny bit thicker. Nonetheless, all models are quite easily portable.

Just as the other notebooks from the series, you get Waves MaxxAudio Pro enhanced stereo speakers on the Inspiron 7570 as well and a 1MP front camera for video calls.

The starting price of the Dell Inspiron 7570 will be $799 and it will be available from October the 3rd.

Why not mx150? 🙁 🙁 It was so close to be perfect laptop. Bdw how useful do you think quad-core U series is, for productivity tasks like VMs and all(for personal POCs obviously)? Or we better go for HQ series? Support for 32GB of memory is definitely a plus point than pervious generation.

The Intel Core i7-8550U is fast enough, not better than an i7 7700HQ but is good. The Graphic card is bad.
