The new Dell Inspiron 7773 (17 7000 2-in-1) – specs, features, configurations and prices

After our quick walkthroughs over the specs of Dell’s upcoming 13 and 15-inch 2-in-1 laptops, it is time to take a look at their larger brother. The Dell Inspiron 7773 or 17 7000 2-in-1 is s 17.3-inch 2-in-1 laptop which makes it one of the largest in the category.

Just like the two smaller versions, the Inspiron 7773 can be configurated with an 8th gen CPU – up to Core i7 from the ULV Kaby Lake-R series. This can be backed up by a maximum of 16GB of DDR4 RAM which can run in dual-channel mode (two slots available).

The 17.3-inch IPS touch panel has Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Apart from the big screen, there is another feature that could make the Inspiron 7773 a good choice for light gaming. You can optionally equip yours with a dedicated GPU – the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

Storage solutions include one M.2 slot for SSDs and one 2.5-inch slot for HDD. The maximum capacity is up to 1TB for the SSD and 2TB for the HDD. The Inspiron 7773 features a better battery than its smaller siblings. It boasts a 4-cell 56Wh unit. However, due to the bigger battery and screen size, the Inspiron 7773 is not very light weighing around 2.94 kg (6.49 lbs).

The Inspiron 7773 features the same 1MP camera and VGA infrared camera duo as well as the same Waves MaxxAudio Pro enhanced stereo speakers as the smaller 2-in-1s of Dell’s series. The starting price of the Inspiron 7773 will be $949.99 and it will become available along the others on October the 3rd.

there are entirely too many keys with shortcut commands on them that warrant their own keys (pgup, pgdn, home, end, ALL media shortcut functions, etc.)
