The new Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) 15″ – specs, features and configurations

After we acquainted you with the key features of the Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) 13.3″, it is now time to take a look at its bigger sibling – the new Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) 15″.

Hardware-wise, the device uses the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor allowing you to run various programs at the same time without encountering lagging. In addition to the Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU, the 15-inch models also offer the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB GDDR5) GPU for increased performance. As far as memory capacity is concerned, you are presented with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM paired with up to 1000GB SSD.

As you have probably already guessed from the name, the laptop comes with а diagonal of 15.6 inches and an IPS panel featuring Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Here, we come across the RealView display again that contributes to the appealing visual experience making the colors crisp and bright both when working indoors and outdoors. In addition, the aluminum used for the construction of the device not only gives it premium appearance but also makes it pretty durable.

The laptop is also very portable as it weighs just 1.25 kg (2.8 lbs) with a 15.4 mm thin profile. Furthermore, the large 75Wh battery supports always-on power and fast charging so you don’t have to worry about running out of charge throughout the day. And finally – the connectivity options you are presented with include a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a single USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, microSD card reader, as well as audio jack.

Any info about screen, if this is from “BOE” with PWW Flickering 200Hz then Samsung fail again (it was on previous models (Notebook 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pen)
