From all of the gibberish on MSI's official Website, we learn one thing - the Katana is no longer called the GF66. Instead, it follows its weapon cousin - the Sword, in adopting the simpler "15" moniker. This will make the two devices ever so harder to differentiate. Right from the get-go the MSI seems to overhype their Cyborg 15 (A12V). They say it is "the most ground-breaking gaming laptop". Why? In 2024, the market offers a lot of budget gaming laptops and some of them are pretty capable for their price. One of the notable mentions in this category is the Acer Nitro V 15 (ANV15-41) which is a great bang for the buck but has one bad flaw - the super high noise during CPU-heavy tasks.
