Opening the HP Elite x360 1040 G11
Hint: Power off the laptop and unplug all cables before starting.
- Undo the four captive Phillips-head screws securing the bottom panel.
- Look for slight gaps in the two bottom corners—these are good starting points.
- Insert a thin plastic tool in one of the gaps and begin prying the front.
- Continue working your way around the sides and back until all internal clips are released and the panel can be removed.

Battery Removal

- Detach the battery connector by gently pulling it toward the battery.
