The AMD E1-2100 is a budget, two-core processor. It is meant for integration into small notebooks and laptops. Released in mid 2013, it is part of AMD’s “Jaguar” microarchitecture family. The cores are based on the Kabini architecture and operate at 1GHz.
Since its construction makes use of a 28nm process, and by virtue of its Kabini architecture, the processor is capable of higher clock frequencies than its predecessors of the Bobcat microarchitecture generation. E1-2100 has 128KB of first level cache and 1MB of second level cache. The integrated Radeon HD 8210 graphics accelerator has 128 shader cores and operates at 300MHz. Power consumption for the whole SoC is 9 watts, which makes it suitable for small notebooks.
E1-2100 supports DDR3/L 1333 memory, x86_64, SS4.2 instructions as well as AVX and AES.
