Good News: Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen, 2015) doesn’t use eye-damaging PWM

MotoG3-side5Having a quality IPS panel with good contrast ratio, accurate color reproduction and high maximum brightness etc. is actually winning half the battle. The other half is the so-called screen flickering effect, or like others like to call it PWM, that can cause eye fatigue after long hours of staring at the screen.

Luckily, our tests indicate that there is no room for concern. You can see from the graph below that there’s no PWM across all brightness levels or simply put – no aggressive light pulsation.

But first, to make sure we are on the same page, we suggest reading this short article explaining what PWM is.
