Sony has preserved the tradition of being active at world tech fairs, presenting three new smartphones, two of the highest range and one mid-ranger, at the IFA convention in Berlin. All of them come with pre-installed Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

Their new top model is called Xperia XZ1, and features a 5.2-inch Full HD screen with Gorilla Glass protection. Its construction combines aluminum and plastic, and its technical features include the Snapdragon 835 mobile processor, complemented by 4GB RAM, 2700mAh battery and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. There is also a new MagicEye camera that can capture slow-mo videos at a frame rate of up to 960fps. The smartphone will be available on the market on September 19 with a price of $700.

Xperia XZ1 also has a mini-version called Xperia XZ1 Compact. It boasts nearly the same technical features, except for the 4.6-inch HD screen. Its internal storage has been reduced to 32GB. Its appearance on the market will take place on October 4, and the asking price will be $600.

The third new model is named Xperia XA1 Plus, and it is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen and a large 3400mAh battery. Also, the mobile chip is from MediaTek this time, what we have in mind is the Helio P20. It is complemented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The rear camera is 23MP with f/2.0 aperture, while in the front you expect an 8-megapixel camera also with f/2.0 aperture. Sales will begin on October 20, and the price will be $380.
