AMD’s Ryzen processor lineup is already available for desktop users and by the end of this year we can expect the first mobile Ryzen chips to hit the market. Because of the lack of an integrated GPU in the dye of Zen-based models, the laptops will be equipped with Vega graphics cards. According to the “red” company, we can expect a 50% increase in computing performance and above 40% graphics performance – all this with almost 50% less power consumption.

However, we found some leeks of a benchmark test for one of the expected Raven Ridge-based processors – Ryzen 5 2500U. The chip has managed to score 9723 points in the test loading all active cores, and “only” 3625 points for each active core. In comparison, the Bristol Ridge PRO-based processor, AMD PRO A12-9800B has respectively reached 5115 and 3215 points in the Geekbench 4.1.1 benchmark test, which speaks well of the improvements in the new Ryzen processors.
