[FPS Benchmarks] Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W, 95W, and 130W) – the 130W GPU can push 67 FPS on Ultra

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is still a good-looking game that can offer you long hours of gameplay. You have a huge open world at your disposal – you can travel to every point on the map on foot or with some vehicle. Your main goal is to stop the local cartel that is doing terrifying crimes.

TC Wildlands isn’t that light even for today’s standards – 60 FPS score on Ultra is a tough cookie for most video cards. That’s why we want to see how many frames the new green GPUs can push when you play Wildlands. Yes, we are talking about the new Ampere graphics solutions – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W), GeForce RTX 3070 (95W), and GeForce RTX 3070 (130W).

    Verdict

As we said, that’s a heavy game – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W) is having a hard time on Ultra and it can’t breach the 60 FPS mark. But it’s so close which is a decent result for a GPU whit such a lower TGP. The GeForce RTX 3070 (95W) shows a bit more power with its 61 FPS on Ultra which translates to just a 5% difference compared to the 85W GPU.

Expectedly, the GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) can push the highest FPS of all three siblings – 67 FPS on the max preset is a good result. For those who need even more frames – just switch to Very High, there is a lot of fine details too combined with higher frames per second.

the test is incomplete without noise measurement. of course increased power limit increases performance but at what cost?
