[Preliminary] AMD Ryzen 9 5900H vs AMD Ryzen 9 4900H – the new Ryzen 9 seems to be 30% better in Single-core and 23% in Multi-core

Benchmark scores were leaked on Geekbench showing off the new Zen 3 based Ryzen 9 5900H. With this new information, we are ready to present you with some preliminary comparisons, which are only a small part of what is to come in the future once the 5900H hits the market and we get our hands on one.

For the first comparison, we decided to put it against its predecessor, in the face of the Ryzen 9 4900H.

The new Ryzen 9 managed to beat its older counterpart, scoring 30% higher in Single-core performance and 23% higher in Multi-core performance. The newer architecture really looks like it is something new that can challenge the Apple M1, which has been taking names left and right.
