[Comparison] ASUS VivoBook S14 S433 (2020) vs ASUS VivoBook S14 S432 (2019) – what’s new?

ASUS revealed so many new devices on CES and we will compare the upcoming new ones with the current generations. Now it’s time to talk about the ASUS VivoBook S14 S433. As you may already know, we have an in-depth review of VivoBook S14 S432 and we like its ScreenPad 2.0, the overall performance, and its long battery life. Let’s hope that ASUS can offer better panels this time because the display of the S432 model was a so-so one.

Hardware: 10th Gen CPUs inside – Comet Lake CPUs with 4 cores

Comet Lake will rock inside of the S433 notebook and that means Intel UHD 620 for the users who don’t care about graphics performance and NVIDIA MX250 for the ones who want to have some fun after work. You can rely on some quad-core CPUs like i5-10210U and i7-10510U – the six-core i7-10710U won’t be available maybe because of the higher cooling requirements.

I/O: decent amount of ports

The ports selection isn’t bad at all – a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C), a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A), two USB 2.0, one HDMI, an audio combo jack, and an SD card reader.

Other features: optional ASUS NumberPad 2.0, bigger battery and 802.11ax

If you really miss the NumberPad option ASUS will offer an optional solution – ASUS NumberPad 2.0. The latter will be integrated into the double duty TouchPad. The battery unit is upgraded to a 50Wh one (from 42Wh) and if you need the fastest wireless connection the integrated Wi-Fi 6 will suit your need.
