13MP camera with OIS and 8-core processor
Desire 828 comes with a 13MP main camera which has autofocus and an LED flash. Also available is optical image stabilization which can help you take less blurry shots throughout the day or night. Additionally, you will find many settings and options for photo editing. Furthermore there is a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera for those who are after selfies.
The mobile CPU here is MediaTek MT6753 and it comes with eight Cortex-A53 cores, ticking at up to 1.5 GHz. In addition, the chip comes with 2 GB of RAM and a Mali-T720MP3 GPU. All this results in high performance and snappy operation. The internal storage is 16 GB but you can expand via the microSD card slot, which supports up to 256 GB.
BoomSound loudspeakers, 5.5-inch display, and thin profile
The smartphone has front-facing BoomSound loudspeakers with Dolby Audio which guarantees powerful and good quality sound. Of course, this is always a good addition irrespective of whether you are watching a movie, playing a game or listening to your favorite song.
Additionally, Desire 828 has a 5.5-inch display which ensures big enough space for operation. Apart from this, its resolution is Full HD (1920 x 1080 p) and this translates into a highly-detailed image. As for the pixel density, it is approximately 401 ppi.
HTC Desire 828’s designers confessed that their inspiration comes from sports cars. The model itself has nice curves for the purpose of comfortable grip and slim body with a profile thickness of only 7.9 mm.
Two SIM cards and feature-rich Sense UI
The smartphone supports two SIM cards and this allows you to use your personal and work numbers in one phone or use one of the slots for a card that has a data package.
The OS of this device is Android 5.1 Lollipop. Naturally, along with it you get the Sense UI by HTC. It offers many features and pre-installed apps. For example, you are presented with HTC Themes, which allows you to change the software layout, and HTC BlinkFeed – it combines the notifications from your favorite websites, social networks and others.
