The new Dell Precision 5530 workstation – XPS on steroids

Under its hood, the configuration can be equipped with the Xeon 6-core processors, as well as the latest 8th gen Intel Core CPUs including the overclockable Intel Core i9 that is a first for a mobile workstation. In addition, the graphics options are NVIDIA Quadro P2000 (Laptop, 4GB GDDR5), NVIDIA Quadro P1000 (4GB GDDR5) and Intel UHD Graphics 630 that are capable of handling demanding graphics applications. Furthermore, the laptop relies on up to 32GB of RAM, while up to 3TB of SSD makes transferring large files a child’s play. 

As we mentioned earlier, the new Dell Precision 5530 is dubbed as Dell’s thinnest and lightest mobile workstation. It measures just 17 mm in thickness and weighs 1.78 kg (3.9 lbs). In addition, the color options include Platinum Silver or Brushed Onyx. What’s more, the 15.6-inch configurations offer Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS and 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS display options to choose from.

And finally, in terms of connectivity options, you are presented with 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, 2x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, microSD card reader, as well as Noble lock.
