[FPS Benchmarks] Halo: Reach on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 [40W and 50W] – both can can deliver 150+ FPS on maxed-out settings
Halo Reach was first released for Xbox 360 in 2010. After 9 long years of waiting, the game debuted for PC as Halo: The Master Chief Collection that includes other Halo titles as well as Halo Reach. Expectedly, the game features visual improvement and enhancements. Even the last graphics preset is called “Enhanced”.
Still, this game (and its engine) has aged which means that the visual representation isn’t a top-notch quality (but it’s not ugly by any means though) but the single-player campaign is very interesting and this title is light on hardware resources. AMD Radeon RX Vega 5 (C4, Ryzen 4000, 15W) is able to achieve 45 FPS on Low so you can have a more clear look at how light is this title.

Verdict
In the introduction section we mentioned high refresh rate displays and yes, both GPUs can deliver more than 144Hz on average even when you select the “Enhanced” quality. Well, the 50W version of the GeForce GTX 1650 is around 11% faster in this game but that is not a big deal because the 40W variant can achieve 150 FPS on average with maxed-out visuals.
However, the GeForce GTX 1650 [50W] is our winner in this article. If your main goal is to see as many frames as possible in Halo Reach, yes, the 50W variant is faster.
