1. The keyboard

The backlit keyboard of the Lenovo Legion Y7000 is a nice one. It’s comfortable for gaming because of the long key travel and its clicky feedback. A NumPad section is available too.

2.The Upgradability

The upgradability options are good, especially for the end-price of this device. On board we found two RAM DIMMs that support up to 32GB RAM (the memory is hidden beneath a protective metal bracket). There is an M.2 slot (PCIe x4) and a 2.5″ SATA drive slot.

3. The cooling

The cooling solution of this notebook is a capable one. It consists of three heat pipes and does a good job. In stress tests, the laptop reaches 45°C which is a good result for a gaming machine.
